Index size is around 500k places of simple metadata full name, location type, county, state, postgres database ID for full data. Sphinx is used for an internal research tool, using the search API through python to allow fast lookup of place names and types how many places start with "san", how many cities are there in california, etc. This is used for researching and pre calculating information we surface on our pages. Queries are all lightning fast, and the real keys are the extensive search syntax, simple installation and efficient performance. External examiner: An independent expert appointed by an institution to comment on student achievement in relation to established academic standards and to look at approaches to assessment. External examining: The process by which one or more independent experts external examiners comments on student achievement in relation to established academic standards and on the higher education provider's approach to assessment, thus helping to ensure consistent standards and fair assessment procedures across the UK. University of Toronto, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology 2007 defines external examiner of the doctoral thesis thus:Definition of External Examiner: The External Examiner/Appraiser of a thesis should be external to the University as well as to the teaching hospitals affiliated with the University and their research institutes. He or she should be a recognized expert on the subject of the thesis and, normally, will be an Associate or Full Professor at his or her home institution. In nominating someone as the External Examiner/Appraiser for a thesis, the supervisor certifies to the Graduate Coordinator that the nominee has an arms length relation both with the candidate and with the Supervisor. Usually, this will exclude anyone who, in the past six years, i has been a departmental colleague of the candidate or of the Supervisor, ii has been a student or teacher of the candidate or Supervisor, or iii has collaborated on a research project with the candidate or Supervisor. Not all institutions use external examiners in exactly the same way. The role from Bristol specified below is indicative of the role that external examiners play in ensuring comparable standards and appropriate practice in assessment of students. In some institutions external examiners also act as critical friends to a greater degree than implied in the outline from Bristol, below. For example they, often unofficially, comment on the appropriateness/up to dateness of curricula, alternative assessment techniques and burden of assessment. The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education QAA in the UK states in its Code of practice for the assurance of academic quality and standards in higher education, Section 4, External examining August 2004 :This section of the Code assumes, however, that all institutions will use external examiners to help them monitor the academic standards of their awards, except those granted on an honorary basis.

This geometric plan of a model pyramid was designed by Samuel Laboy, using his new discovered architectural template, consisting of a circle, a triangle and a square, and without any reference to the Great Pyramid's dimensions. All its calculated dimensions were based on the radius of the circle set equal to the product of 153 ft. 6637 ft. No reference were made to the Great Pyramid's dimensions in his design. However, the dimensions of this model designed plan, are found exactly equal to those dimensions that have been measured at the Great Pyramid. The only way possible to obtain this result is that the Egyptian designer used the same architectural template and the same radius, using the equivalency of the set radius in their units of measurement, for the design of the Great Pyramid. In other words, the entire plan of this pyramid's model proved to represent the original construction plan used by the Egyptians to construct the Great Pyramid. As known, there are many theories about the Great Pyramid's geometric design. However, no one in the pyramid's history has come with a real and convincing geometrical design for the entire structure. At this time, the Egyptian Authorities, Universities, and scholars have available to examine, or review the work of a civil engineer from Puerto Rico, which claimed that he designed the entire geometry of the Great Pyramid, including its original entrance, the King's Chamber and its five ceilings, the Queen's Chamber, the Antechamber, all corridors, chambers, ventilation shafts, and even the concavities of its faces. Samuel Laboy, with a Master's degree in Engineering from the Oklahoma State University, indicates that without any calculations, the use of numbers, or mathematical formulas, he creates a dimensionless design plan of the entire Great Pyramid.
